Bronze is the rough structural version, where the initial concept is drafted. Animation will be basic and pre-rendered. The voice over will be an AI placeholder.

Polar Media's responsibilities at this stage: is to get enough detail into the video so you, the client, is able to ascertain that the concept is working and they have a clear idea of where things are headed. If you don’t we’re happy to keep refining Bronze until you are.

Client's responsibilities: To give this version the appropriate focus. Although rough, this will demonstrate many aspects to the video and whether it is meeting the communication goals it needs to. If input is deflected until things are more developed it will mean backtracking and going outside of the agreed scope.

The Silver version will incorporate all structural changes from Bronze. This is the 80% finalised version. If it is animation there will be 10-20% of it in a final render quality..

Polar Media's responsibilities at this stage: ensure that all feedback from Bronze has been applied correctly. Design, music and other post production has been enhanced and refined. The Silver version should be issued with voice over options if that is relevant to the production. 

Client's responsibilities: To ensure all feedback from Bronze has been applied correctly. To provide any additional feedback that is aligned with improving the original concept. Stock footage should be approved for purchase at this stage. Music choices will be locked in following this round of reviews. All decision makers involved in the project needs to have reviewed at this phase.

The Gold version is the final version. This version might still require minor changes to labelling or simple overlay, but on the whole it is complete in most respects.

Polar Media's responsibilities at this stage: to deliver this gold version by the agreed deadline. All prior feedback addressed. Edge cases to be checked prior to delivering this version. Voice over, music and text overlay all final and correct.

Client's responsibilities: To ensure all feedback from Silver has been applied correctly. Additional changes at this point which were not highlighted at Silver are likely to come with a minor cost variation.
